Celebrating 15 years, Outside Lands will return to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park next weekend, August 11-13. This year, Kendrick Lamar returns as a headliner alongside Foo Fighters and Odesza—plus the event will feature a rap performance by NBA star Shaquille O’Neal.

Music and food get nearly equal billing at this three-day festival in San Francisco’s gorgeous Golden Gate Park, so it’s a great event if you want a real taste of the Bay Area’s well-developed restaurant and band scenes while getting some exercise in the process. The on-point visual production means art installations and surprises seem to lurk around every corner, and there’s even an entire area dedicated to legal cannabis sales.

Though a summer festival, San Francisco can be a little chilly in August, so layer up just in case! If you’d like to take stroll down memory lane, the official Outside Lands website posted past lineups and a timeline beginning with the first concert in 2008 with Friday headliner Radiohead.
