Californian Friends Attempt to Recreate The Iconic Mac Wallpaper Images

You know those picturesque desktop wallpapers that come with your macOS computer updates? Think Yosemite, El Captain, The Sierras? Well, a group of friends set out to recreate those photo compositions. And they did a pretty decent job.
According to Business Insider, “The friends documented the experience in a YouTube video. ‘I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent working at my computer, seeing these pictures and daydreaming about experiencing these places for myself,” Levitt said in the video. ‘Conveniently, they’re all within a day’s drive away from me, which sparked an idea for an epic road trip.’”
They definitely got the composition right, even if the seasons look a bit off. But you can check out their California adventure and captured images yourself here.
