LA artist KERA (full name Kera Armendariz and formerly known as Kera and The Lesbians) has released two versions of her new single, “Vitamin T,” a stripped down ‘Demo’ with a haunting, reverbed vocal and a slightly more arranged version. She’s also put together a black and white video for the former, which has the feel of an early ’90s, KD Lang meets Chris Isaak project. Directed by Alexa Nikol Curran, the video features Armendariz crooning to the camera in a dimly lit room with only a single spotlight illuminating her.
You can read a short interview with KERA and watch the new black and white video for the ‘Demo’ version of “Vitamin T” here. A new signing to Mama Bird Recording Co., look for KERA to drop more tunes throughout the year.
